Maggie Ayres is a mixed media & textile artist who is passionate about texture, line and light, which she manipulates using a variety of materials, focusing primarily on natural fibres.

Her artwork explores the ranges of emotion that continually overlap and pull in all directions. She seeks to express her conflict between the desire to please and be all things to all people, and a backlash against that need to conform to expectations.
